Bears For Uvalde Children

As a retired Educator and therapist, my heart goes out to the families and friends affected by the killings in Uvalde, Texas. The student population of Robb Elementary is reportedly 576. These students, their siblings, childhood friends, and relatives will forever be affected by this massacre.

I need your help in producing these handmade therapeutic musical bears so that they can be sent to the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas. This center works directly with the Uvalde children and has agreed to distribute them to the Uvalde victims.

When you squeeze the bears, listeners hear a comforting message that combines music therapy, play and learning theory, goal setting, visualization, positive affirmations, psychological principles, and prayers to help these kids get through another day with hope for a better tomorrow. No donation is too small. Anything from $5 to whatever you can give will be appreciated. Please consider donating money, sewing machines, and joining me in making these bears in English and Spanish. If you would like to help make them contact Joyce. We meet in Metro Atlanta (McDonough, GA) on Thursdays and Saturdays at 1:00PM. We are also making bears for Ukrainian children.
