God watches over his word to make sure it is fulfilled. Whatever promise he has given you—long life, health, prosperity, employment, a spouse, children—he is obligated to perform it. This is a promise you can take to the bank!
Mary wondered how the miracle of the immaculate conception could happen. She pondered it in her heart. I’m sure she had a little bit of faith and probably a whole lot of fear. As time passed, she received confirmations from God as he watched over his word.
Joseph’s confirmation of marriage legitimized her pregnancy. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, her baby, John the Baptist, leaped in her womb. Elizabeth was then filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke these words: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?”
Man wants to define what can’t be understood by human discernment. Mary’s faith is a spiritual transaction that came by hearing of the word. Mary heard from an angel (heavenly confirmation), Elizabeth (spiritual), and John the Baptist (earthly).
The walk of the believer is defined as a walk of faith that comes by hearing, perceiving, and believing the word that God watches over to perform in our lives. He is ready to manifest the word he has spoken over you. Do you have faith to believe his word for your healing?
