Jesus told us he would leave us with the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit. He said this gift would lead, guide, comfort, and empower us. At a prayer service, I asked God to fill me with his Holy Spirit. I praised him in advance, waited for the manifestation, and God answered my prayer. Since that time, his Spirit has empowered me to overcome hardships, guided me through life-threatening events, comforted me during tragedies, and financially prospered me.
At the age of forty-two after suffering three miscarriages and a stillbirth I was told I was too old to have children. But his Spirit enabled me to give birth to a beautiful son who graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia.
God grafts into the body of Christ, anyone who calls on him and invites the Holy Spirit into their life. If you call on him, his spirit will empower you to overcome anything. You too can be a witness of his love, healing, and prospering power. I dare you to try him!
